The Past and Present Life of Perfume

Nowadays, when we talk about perfume, words such as elegant, high class and noble come to mind. So what role has perfume played in history?
The English word for perfume, “Perfume”, comes from the Latin word “Perfumare”, which means “to penetrate smoke”. “”, meaning “to penetrate smoke”. This is because in ancient times people worshipped the gods by burning the smoke emitted from objects.

French cities are blessed with natural environments suitable for growing all kinds of spices needed for perfumery, and thus became great bases for growing spices. The cities of France have become a great base for the cultivation of fragrances.

Today, perfume is slowly evolving into a luxury industry. Perfume is not only a fragrant experience of smell, but also a way of interpreting oneself, expressing one’s personality and showing one’s charm. Almost every perfume item has a designer’s creative concept and story behind it.
